Started playing in '79 and did the usual basement jams, then on to HS and playing at dances and mixers (and 4 hours of practice daily with the other unathletic nerds in the scene shop under the stage). Toured the mid-Atlantic with a band out of Charlottesville, VA during a gap year, and recorded a studio album, then on to the Midwest for college and tons of bar gigs and a recording project that won a student Grammy for our engineer. Moved to Asia in '90 to teach, and played the bar and restaurant circuit, and the annual Spring Scream fest a couple of times early on.

So finally caught my breath and hauled the Spector out of its dusty case about a month ago, and I've been scraping the rust off of my intermediate/advanced technique and picking up some stuff I missed the first time around. Good to be doing what I was made for again, and eager to get involved with a like-minded crew for 1-2x weekly practice and the odd (or not so odd) show.
