Apothecary is a metalcore band from Springfield, Massachusetts consisting of four members: Tristan Gallant on unclean/clean vocals and guitar; Tommy Welch on guitar and clean vocals; Ethan Dobrindt on bass guitar; and Logan Trainor on the drums.
Apothecary can be accurately described as experimental within their domain, blending and fusing genres such as post-grunge, metalcore, deathcore, emo, math rock, shoegaze, electronicore, and progressive metal. Major influences include Deftones, Invent Animate, Anthony Green, Asking Alexandria, Tool, and Gojira.
Initially started in 2019 as a rock band by the name of Winterstone, the band, consisting of only Logan and Tristan (with several temporary members), went inactive for some time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The band returned in 2021, introducing bassist Ethan Dobrindt and guitarist/vocalist Tommy Welch. In addition to this, the band was retitled to Apothecary, a homage to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Apothecary is currently in the process of recording, intending to release a single around 2024 and their first EP sometime around late 2024 to mid 2025.

We're potentially looking to expand our current lineup and add an additional lead guitarist to the band to help solidify the band's sound live.
Note: We are very much open to writing new material but as of Feb 2024, we have already finished writing most of our album's content and structure and are in the process of recording.
